Pine Island Botanicals, Inc

() is located in Bokeelia, the north side of Pine Island in Southwest Florida. The unique climate allows the growth of many tropical and sub tropical exotic fruits, leafy asian, lettuce, and mustard greens, and vegetables year round. The 4+ acre residential farm is a TRULY organic and pesticide-free environment and home to tropical fruit and nuts trees such as avocado, papaya, mango, carambola (star fruit), macadamia, lychee, and citrus. The brood of free range chickens enjoy the availbility of fresh produce in return for fertilizing and 'tilling' the soil. Also speckled throughout are collections of bromeliads, orchids, tropical plants, tropical clumping bamboos, and wildlife such as butterflies, gopher tortoises, reptiles, and birds of prey.
